From Gatsby Glam to Golden Moments: Inside UNIKA’s Performance at the LMF Forums Awards Dinner Ceremony 2025

There are some events that remind you exactly why you do what you do — and this was one of them.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of delivering a full UNIKA experience for the LMF Forums (London Market Forums) Awards Dinner Ceremony, hosted at the prestigious Plaisterers’ Hall—a grand and historic venue nestled between St Paul’s Cathedral and the Barbican, right in the heart of the City of London. With its neoclassical architecture, marble columns, and ornate chandeliers, it provided the

perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration, connection, and high-impact

entertainment.

The atmosphere was electric as professionals from across the London insurance, broking, and legal sectors gathered to celebrate industry excellence, innovation, and achievement. Against that glittering backdrop, we transported guests straight into the roaring 1920s with a high-energy Charleston showcase filled with feathers, fringe, jazz, and joy.

✨ The Arrival: Glamour in Full Swing.

As guests arrived for the champagne and drinks reception, our UNIKA dancers welcomed them in full Gatsby flair—feathers, fringe, sequins, and smiles. One of the most beautiful moments for our team was witnessing the sheer elegance and effort that had gone into the evening. Some guests went all-out with 1920s glamour, while others took a modern black-tie approach with subtle nods to the theme. It created a stunning spectrum of style and sophistication that set the tone for what was to come.

There was an unmistakable buzz in the air—guests were dressed up, ready to celebrate, and clearly excited to dive into the evening’s festivities.

💃 The Performance: Full-On, High-Energy, UNIKA Style!

Our 1920s Great Gatsby–inspired dance show burst onto the stage with fierce choreography, vintage jazz flair, and a bold remix soundtrack featuring the likes of Do Your Thing by Basement Jaxx. This routine is one of our favourites to perform—nonstop movement, precise formations, and an electric energy that demands your full presence from start to finish.

The response from the audience? Pure joy. Clapping, cheering, fully engaged from the first beat to the final pose. One guest described it as a surge of energy that completely transformed the room—an electrifying shift that took the atmosphere from elegant to euphoric.

When we stepped off stage, we were glowing—not just from the adrenaline, but from the radiant shimmer of well-earned sweat. Hair and makeup still intact (mostly), hearts racing, spirits high—and genuinely, we were ready to do it all over again. The energy was just that good.

🏆 The Ceremony: Flow, Elegance, and Theatre

Later in the evening, after guests had enjoyed their three-course meal, we stepped into a more subtle—but equally important—role. Our dancers seamlessly supported the flow of the awards ceremony, gracefully escorting winners to and from the stage.

This wasn’t just a practical addition—it was a purposeful and polished enhancement that added theatre, glamour, and warmth to the evening. Our team moved between tables with ease, celebrating winners, guiding them onto the stage, and then leading them to a beautifully decorated photo wall to capture special moments with their teams, awards, and event sponsors.

It kept the energy flowing, the programme running smoothly, and added an elegant aesthetic to what is often a functional moment in corporate events. The organisers appreciated the efficiency, the guests enjoyed the extra attention, and for us as performers, it was a wonderful way to be fully integrated into the experience—not just on stage, but throughout the evening.

It’s a format we’ll be incorporating more often in future shows, as it beautifully blends functionality with flair.
